13 Oct 1798 Henry Mires Sr. of Allegany county sold to Henry Mires, Jr, his son, one house and lot in Cresap Town and all household furniture for 200 pounds. Recording fee 16 pounds of tobacco

1800 two doors down from Herbert Wire

9 Apr 1803 John Wire (Myer?) and Herbert Wire, both of Allegany county, agree to divide said land in the described manner or pay 500 pound penalty.

15 Aug 1803 Henry Myers appointed Constable of George's Creek Hundred

"1 Apr 1805 John Mire and Herbert Wier (Wire) owning together a tract of land called 'Contest', 125 acres each, lying in Allegany county agree to separate it and each claim half, having a deed made for the same" recorded 1 Apr 1805, (just after Ann Charity/Gertraud died).

5 June 1805 John bought Lot #3557 from Joseph Cresap for 50 pounds

14 May 1806 sold to John Jonas for $800 Lots 2191 and 2193, patented to said Henry Myers 5 Apr 1797 and called "Chance", containing 100 acres.

Peter Weyer and Anna Elizabeth had two children born 20 Dec 1760 and baptized 31 Mar 1761 in Frederick co, MD (familysearch)

Johannes Meyer married Gertraud Weihrin.  "in" is the feminine ending for a single woman in German; therefore Weiher is the last name. Same marriage date and witnesses were Wilhelm and Herbert Wire-too much of a coincidence
Catharina Weiher, probably a sister, is married the same day-same witnesses

A John Myer patented land in Licking co, OH 12 Apr 1822

Mr. John Myers died at his residence in Georgetown in his 75th year. He became a citizen of Georgetown in 1809. He leaves his widow, 7 children, 30 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
